Yesterday was mom's turn to show us how creative she could be with her Halloween dinner. She made her speciality: Mummy Calzones. Or should I say: Yummy Mummy Calzones.
She only cooks for her and Dad and an occasional Sunday dinner with everybody, but she wasn't prepared for the 15 people that invaded her house drooling and hungry. She thought four mummies would be plenty. We polished off every one and I think we could have eaten more. Thanks mom, it was very tasty.
After dinner we watched one of my all-time favorite shows: It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown. They just don't make shows like this anymore. Sure the animation was a little crude, but it was hilarious and the kids were glued to the tv almost the entire length of the show. Stay tuned for more spooky recipes and fun Halloween shows.

Snoopy's my favorite! When he was the pilot and flying/running around, it was great. Good times.
Yummy how fun!! I'm so glad you all are creative.
Delicious, indeed. Wish you all could have been there to enjoy them with us. Wait. . . that would have been less for us to enjoy. Oh well. Next time.
The mummies were fun and easy to make. I also love Charlie Brown. It is a classic that really brings the magic. I am glad everyone enjoyed the feast. Next time I will make more.
