1st Day of School 2015

Man, I remember the days when Jeremy and Bailee would walk to the bus stop hand in hand.  Today…….that didn’t happen.  Jeremy was headed to Jr. High, and Bailee was off to 5th grade at Nebo View.  They were super anxious about going to new schools, so this was the best that I could do.

But they made it through the day safe and sound, and super excited for the school year.  So it has begun.  :)

Camping 2015

So one of the items on the family summer bucket list was camping.  I kept trying to push it off, thinking we would run out of time, but leave it to Jenny and Justin to plan a trip and force me to come…..just far enough away I can’t go home at night, but close enough to come up after work.  Bailee had a blast since it was her first time camping.  Jenny and Justin bought a canoe to tour around the lake.  It was pretty okay, but I couldn’t do it again.  One and done, that’s my motto.

Demolition Derby 2015

Matt worked all year for this day.  Countless hours spent prepping and welding.  Spending nights with Josh.  All for 30 seconds of fun.  After one hit Matt was done.  But he had fun doing it, so that is what matters, right?  Stephen on the other hand had a blast getting crashed into.  He couldn’t stop smiling.  It was so cute to see his grin from ear to ear. 

California Vacay Day Three – Universal Studios Part Three

We ended the day with the Studio Tour……one of the best parts of the park.  I love info on movies and filming.
          

By this time, we were all pretty much beat by the sun and we were ready to go home.  So we headed back to the hotel and hung out and played monopoly.  It was a great vacation.  Some awesome time spent with family and just what I needed.

California Vacay Day Three – Universal Studios Part Two

One of my favorite things about Universal Studios is the star way.  I love the escalators to the lower lot.
   
We headed over to the Transformer Ride first, then looked at the movie props.
  

Then we took a ride on the Mummy’s Revenge.
 
Then we headed over to Jurassic Park.
     
As we were getting ready to go to the upper level, we saw the raptor encounter.  So we stopped for a few pics.

We headed up to the Simpson ride and then got some lunch.  Coming up……..Studio Lot Tour.
