It's that time again. The 2nd best weekend of the year is this weekend. When I was younger, General Conference meant sleeping in and staying in my pj's all day. Now, it means filling my spiritual canteen for another 6 months. I LOVE conference. In case you can't tell, I LOVE a lot of things. 
Conference happens to be one of them. I love going up to salt lake and sitting in the conference center to listen to the words of the Prophet. It seems that no matter what I am going through, something is always said to bolster me until the next one. 
So, here's wishing you a great conference weekend!!!

I'm certainly looking forward to it. I only hope my kids will give me some peace and quiet so I can at least get something out of it.
There is always a talk that especially means something to you, no matter who you are. I'm looking forward to hearing mine.
good luck to me, I probably won't get anything out of it because Louis will be working all day Saturday and Sunday.
Abby I have to tell ya, I love how often you up date your blog. I check it every time I check my email. It has become part of my everyday routine (I think I spelled that wrong.)
Hi Abby, I am showing Nede your "journal" and she wanted to comment. She just told me, "Mom, I really like conference now". She has been diligently filling out the sheet you made for her in Y.W.'s, and doing a great job. We wish we were there with you! We thought we may go and enjoy a session on the cool green grass, but the weather isn't cooperating! We'll continue to keep an eye out for you in the crowd. :)
This is after the fact. But Conference is the very best way to get that oil you need for your lamp and realize you can do it. You can be the person you want to be and you can do anything with the right attitude. I love conference as well. I look forward to it. I am glad we have it every 6 months.
