Thriller

October 11th was the annual Thriller party.  However, we had foster care classes so we were only able to hit the drive thru as we headed up to the Covey Center.
Since Brady had choir, Gabrielle brought Serena. The Lenharts met us there.

After the show, we headed to the creamery for a refreshing beverage.  Then we had to get back home for another long day of classes the next day, but it was fun to keep our tradition alive!!

General Conference

Since Gabrielle is a new convert, the stake president gave us tickets to the Saturday morning session.  Ahhhh, I love downtown during conference.

It was a pretty neat experience to share with Gabrielle and Brady.  Then we went and got some lunch at city creek, and headed to the Tabernacle for the afternoon session.  We stayed the night and headed back home Sunday after the first session.  It was a fun little mini-trip, and reminded me of the good ole times of being up there.  However, Matt is looking forward to getting to watch conference in his pajamas. 

Imagine Dragons

October 4th was Matt’s company’s year end party.  They booked Imagine Dragons in the Energy Solutions Arena.  It was pretty sweet.
We headed up to our hotel, checked in, and had dinner at Chili’s.
Then we headed downtown.

It was RIDICULOUS!  When they played Radioactive, the entire arena was thumping.  It was awesome!!  And a great little treat.  Thanks Vivint!

September Cedar City

September 16th Matt, Gabrielle and myself took the Elders down to Cedar City to meet up some other Elders and go up the canyon. 

Then we picked up the Cedar Elders and headed, unfortunately, to Brads.

Then we headed up the canyon to Cascade Falls.

Cascade Falls is where Matt first said he loved me.

Then we headed back to the car and went to get a drink/snow cone at a stand in Cedar.

By then it was time to head back home so Gabrielle could go to Drivers Ed.  It was fun little trip, and it was really good to see Elder Meeks again.
