After two weeks of rained out games, Jeremy finally had his first game on May 5. It was super windy, and dusty, and cold. He was SO excited though. Before the game, he did inform me that we couldn't cheer for him because it was "too embarrassing." I did pretty good until he got up to bat and I started cheering and he turned around and glared at me. I guess I need to bring some gum with me and just chew and chew so I won't embarrass my son.

I would like to note that the picture without all the chain link in the way was taken by me. The devil's in the detail. He did turn around and glare as soon as he heard his name. He had a game yesterday and I cheered for him by name and we didn't get the look. He must be warming up to the idea of having fans. He did so great though. He always hits the ball and runs really hard. Go Jeremy Go!!!
He told me ALL about it! That is great!! We will have to go to a game and NOT cheer him on! lol
LOL!! Your mom just told me about the gum chewing thing just today!
How funny. I agree with the gum chewing thing. It is hard not to cheer though. Maybe he will warm up to the idea before the season ends. I can't wait till Kyle is ready for baseball. That is great that he tries hard. he has good dedication.
It is fun watching him play. I liked baseball because you don't have to be tall to play.
