So Monday afternoon I was going through Jeremy's backpack and I noticed some papers saying that Jeremy had a 1st grade program the next day. So he "suited up" and headed to his program.
He was VERY excited:
It was cute they sang songs and read stories.
For the program and theme was "I'm Glad I'm Me" and they had each child draw a picture of themselves. This is Jeremy's:
This is his teacher Mrs. Wood. She has been excellent.
I've got to say that I am probably more excited than Jeremy for the end of school. No more homework battles and rushing to get ready in the morning. It will be nice. Now we can sit back and enjoy the summer festivities.

He looks so proud of himself in that picture of him and his teacher. I'm so proud of Jeremy for all the work he's put into school and for how smart he is. He's in the top group for reading and mathmatics in his class. Way to go Jeremy, you can be an engineer yet!
What a cute kid. He looks so handsome in his suit. He looks so grown up. He is moving on to second grade.Wow the time sure does fly by. I bet he did a wonderful job. Good job jeremy.
his self portrait is identical to how he actually looks....forget being an engineer...i think artist is calling his name ;)
The things I have to look forward to. I can't wait.
He looks so cute. It looks like a lot of fun.
