Sundance! When we went up to see Sound of Music we saw ads for Full Moon Lift Rides. So we looked at the dates, and checked our calendars and headed up last night. Once Makena got wind of our little excursion, she wrangled herself a date and joined us along with Verena’s brother. We loaded up the car:
And we headed to Chilis for dinner.
After dinner, we headed up to Sundance:
We each got our own chair lift and we were on our way.
It was chilly and with the clouds, it made the moon creepy. A perfect setting for a spookfest activity:
We spent the ride laughing, reminiscing, and dreaming of the future. After our ride:
Then we slowly made our way back to the car:
On the way home we stopped at our usual place, Sonic, only to find that it was closed. It was pretty late when we finished our full moon ride. So we got some Horchata at Betos. After we placed our order we turned the corner to the pickup window and discovered this:
Yah, that’s a tip jar:
Then, we slowly made our way back to Nephi winding through the back roads talking about movies like the Saint, Night Shift, Say Anything, and Young Frankenstein. It was a great and spooky night.

Oh man was it a good time! It got pretty late for me and I kept drifting off asleep on the way home. I'm glad I wasn't driving. It was a lot of fun to ride the chair, just Abby and me and we talked and laughed and it was great. Good idea sweetheart. You're the best!
Sounds like a really fun night! You sure know how to party!
Another different thing. You guys are getting really good at that. Looked like an interesting time. I love Night Shift.
