Last night for FHE we headed up the canyon for a hot dog roast and a little game of No Bear Are Out Tonight. We invited Cory and Sharon and Justin and Jenny with all the kids. We had a quick lesson about running away from temptation and then it was time to eat. They loved roasting hot dogs:

It was time to play No Bear Are Out Tonight. Justin was the first bear and he went and hid. We gathered up the children: 
And headed out singing No Bear Are Out Tonight. We started off with everyone skipping along. As we got deeper into the trees, it got pretty creepy. I had little Ben with me and he kept saying “That dumb bear. Abby I want to go back.” Then Justin jumped out and scared EVERYONE!!! We all ran back to the campsite. Slowly the more games we played the more kids decided to stay at camp because it was too scary. Our last game consisted of Ammon, Sam, and Jeremy because everyone else had the wits scared out of them. It’s pretty creepy to play that game in the canyon. It was a blast and perfect addition to our Spookfest!

I have to admit that even I got a little creeped out the first round we played. It was a really good time and I'd love to do it again before the snow flys!
Sounds like great fun. Let's do it again on a day I can go.
Yes it was a little creepy! Little Zoey had nightmares that night but it was still fun!
