This weekend was our new tradition of going to Thriller. And it just so happened that it was Ammon's birthday party as well. After some games:
and cake, we headed up to Red Lobster for some dinner before the show. Endless Shrimp was the popular choice, just ask Cory, he had 5 plates:
I am sure he could have packed away a couple more plates, but at that point, we were all dragging him out the door. :)
It was a great meal with great company:
And the food was really, really good, see:
We were all in good spirits
After dinner, we headed to the Covey Center for the Arts. We got there in record time with the help of some "creative" driving by Matt. We decided to try the balcony this year.
The show was great. Dem Bones is always my favorite. On the way home, we stopped at Sonic to get some drinks. We were all very slap happy. We decided to take the old highway back to Payson. Matt was trying to catch up to Cory on Spanish Fork's Main Street and he got pulled over. Yup, he got a ticket. That kind of spoiled his mood. What is worse is that I couldn't stop laughing about it. Live and learn I suppose. It was a great night and I am glad that we were all able to get together. Who's up for next year?

Ha, I am the first to comment. Looks like your weekend turned out to be a fun one. I enjoyed thriller when Ray and I went, but I don't know if we would see it again.
Many thrills huh? So what is your next thrill gonna bee? You are the queen of Halloween after all. glad that you had a great time.
It felt good to laugh and spend time with the family. I think it turned out really well. I haven't had that much fun in a long time. Thanks for a great day!
Glad you had such a good time. You making many good traditions for your family. Maybe someday I might go see that.
I know this will be a contraversial statement, but I'm going to say it anyways: they did a tribute dance to Michael Jackson and I quite enjoyed it. It got a little cheesy at the end when Elvis came and welcomed MJ to the afterlife, but I thought the tribute was appropriate and kind of cool. There! I said it!
It was good to have all the family there and laugh all together. Stupid cops.
