After our rest we got up and started to get into our costumes for the Trick or Treat Party.
There was quite a few people lined, but the park was surprisingly empty during the whole night.
They let us in 30 minutes before the party started. We grabbed our candy bags and took a few photos. Jeremy wasn't in a picture taking mood and Matt didn't really dress-up so most of them are just the witchy girls. Our first stop was Toy Story Midway Mania. We crossed Paradise Pier and headed to the entrance where we found Woody. The kids were excited. They got their book out and had the Sheriff sign his pictures.
Then we grabbed our 3-D glasses and headed for the ride.
After we got off the ride, the kids were more interested in getting candy than meeting characters. So candy we did get. Through-out the park, they have trick-or-treat stations all set up where they give you handfuls of candy.
The kids did want to go on the rides. So while we were making our loop around the park, we hit Soarin' over California.
Just as we got off the ride, we noticed that the Halloween Cavalcade was starting. So we found a seat and parked it.
The music was great and upbeat. The characters got everyone out on the street jumping and dancing. My kids however, were either too shy or tired and chose to stay on the sidelines.
After the parade, we headed over to Hollywood Studios Backlot. We did some more trick-or-treating and then went on the Tower of Terror. Bailee was a little anxious but she was a champ and went on it a few more times during our trip.
Then we looped around the park, rode Soarin' again, and got some more candy. We stopped by Pirate Wharf where they were making masks.
Then, mom stopped to snap some pics of the human scarecrows.
It was only 9:30 and there was still another hour of the party left, however, we were all beat, so we headed back to the hotel. The kids barely had enough energy to get out of their costumes and into their pjs. They were out as soon as their heads hit their pillows. After changing we went through the candy and put the bags of apple slices and carrot sticks in the fridge. We got a TON of candy:
It covered almost all of the bed, and that wasn't even the candy that mom got. It was a great time. The kids had a blast and we have enough candy to last us all year long. Coming up . . . Day Two.

Sure looks like you had a great time. now you can just pass that candy out at your ward trunk or treat
The trick or treat was fun and you didn't feel goofy because you were an adult and all dressed up. There was lots of candy but the walking was A LOT!!! I was glad that we could do Soarin' That is one of my favorites. I was ready for bed along with the kids.
Holy cow candy. I wonder do you still have some left or did it get eatin on the car ride home? What a good day. That's cool you saw woody, I don't think I have ever seen him out and about. Great memories.
Look at that stash! I want to go trick-or-treating at disneyland. That looks like a full, fun-filled day. Can't wait to hear more.
i LOVE the socks! halloween socks are the new hotty pants!
That was a whole lot of walking for a whole bunch of candy. My backpack was so heavy. I was glad when we got back to the room that night and I could unload it all. It was a very tiring day and that bed was the most comfortable bed I'd ever slept on.
