Our last day. We got up early and headed to Disneyland. We decided to get some pictures first thing while the park was relatively empty.
Then we decided to head to Fantasyland and hit up some of our favorites. We started with the Matterhorn.
Bailee begged to go on the teacups but no one wanted to get queasy, so she settled for this:
Then we headed to Thunder Mountain Railroad.
Bailee was a pro at stopping before the line. See:
Next we headed to Haunted Mansion Holiday. Matt, being the numbers guy that he is, wanted me to take a picture of the "Christmas Equation"
Next it was on to Splash Mountain. As we were boarding our log, things were a little confused and somehow, Mom ended up in front. She was quite disgusted at how wet she got.
California Adventure was open so hopped over there and headed to Toy Story Midway Mania.
While we were waiting for the next Playhouse Disney show, I took the kids around Candy Corn Acres and we saw Minnie.
And of course, Heimlich who was chowing down on the giant candy corn.
So here are some shots of all the different candy corn. Catcus, and pumpkins, and tomatoes, oh my:
Not to mention carrots, or grapes, or corn.
or Churros?
Finally, it was time for Playhouse Disney. Its a great show with tons of dancing and fun for everyone.
After the show, we hopped in a cab to downtown Monstropolis.
Then we took a ride on the elevator at the Hollywood Tower Hotel.
It was getting close to our reservation for Goofy's Kitchen, so we headed to the Disneyland Hotel.
It was a great brunch. The food was delicious. And the kids actually LOVED all the character interactions. Matt even got into it a little.
After brunch we headed back to the hotel to take a rest and then we were back at California Adventure waiting for the Pixar Play Parade.
Right before the parade was supposed to start, they had an UP pre-parade.
Then the actual parade began:
After the parade we hit Soarin' and then headed over to Disneyland.
By now, Matt's ankle was killing him and all he wanted to do was sit down, so he staked out a spot for Fantasmic while Mom and I went on a couple rides.
Finally, Fantasmic began and it was great!! Loved the new Dragon. And the finale is awesome as always:
After the show we headed to Haunted Mansion Holiday.
When we got off, everyone was beat so we headed for the hotel. The next morning we were up at 4am and home by 3pm. It was a great vacation and can't wait for Christmastime.

The time went by really fast. I loved fantasmic too and we got to watch the fire works afterward also which I liked a lot more than the night before because I was sitting down. We sure did pack a lot into 3 days.
I had blisters on my feet. A big blister on my heal (on my good foot). It was such a great ending to a vacation. I learned the art of staking my territory at a theme park and telling everyone who wants to encrouch on my turf to take a hike. :) Seriously though, after all that walking, the concrete never felt so good.
Looks and sounds AWESOME!! I wish we could have been there! The kids would have loved it, also Matt's ankle probablly wouldn't hurt as bad cause Justin would be doing all the running! I'm glad you guys got to go!! FUN TIMES!!
