My First

He was born during a snowstorm.  We were down in Richfield when the contractions began. We hopped in the car and began the long drive  up to Salt Lake.  3 1/2 hours later we arrived at the hospital and the doctor quickly gave me an epidural.  He was as cute as a button right from the beginning.  He was born with pneumonia, so he had an IV in his head for a month.  But he was still a little  chunk.  He could fall asleep anywhere.  I have found him asleep in his high chair, in his jumper, in the tub, in his car seat, on the kitchen floor,  and more recently on the counter.  He was a bundle of energy and loved to be around people.  Holly was his favorite to cuddle with.  He brought joy to all  of our lives just be sitting there and giggling.  He was a handful, but also brought lots of smiles.  As one of the first grand-children, he's been there for all the subsequent birthdays, celebrations, and additions to the family.  He welcomed his sister with open arms and now they are best friends and have so much fun playing together.  He is the apple of his daddy's eye and they are so similar it is scary.  He has always been a ladies man.  He certainly doesn't shy away from the girls.   He loves his family and he isn't afraid to give his mom a great big kiss when he gets dropped off for school.  Soon, he will be a man, but right now, I am enjoying every bit of his childhood and I am looking forward to the great things that are in store for Jeremy Matthew Morrill.  I love you son, and I am proud of everything that you are.
