Fancy a Drink?

We have lots of glasses/cups in our house:

We have round glasses, square glasses, plastic cups, slurpee cups, halloween mugs, SUU mugs, tall glasses, short glasses, kids cups, adults glasses, disenyland cups, restaurant cups, plain mugs, etc etc etc.  When we have guests we have a plethora of drinking options available.  This, however, Matt does not understand.  He bypasses all the conventional methods of holding liquid and goes straight for this:

Yup, that is right.  My husband, Matthew Royce Morrill, is drinking out of a mason jar.  Forget all the other cups/mugs/glasses, he ALWAYS goes for the mason jar.  I am toying with the idea of giving the jars back to Nellie and have her fill them with more of her tasty homemade salsa.  I even bought glasses that Matt picked out in hopes that he would actually drink from them.  Nope.  He likes his mason jar.  What can I say, my husband is a little WT.

I have two favorite glasses. One of them is my "brandy" glass and the other is this jar. the difference in my choice is volume capacity. sometimes i want a glass that holds just a little bit more. plus, the can sits perfectly on the mason jar to get the most out of my can. :)

You know what, call me weird, but I like drinking out of those, too. For whatever reason, it seems like liquid is colder, or tastes so much better coming from that than plastic. Yeah, I'm weird.

To each his own. Sometimes you just have to roll with the flow.

I have the perfect birthday gift you can get him. Heck if I can find them I'll get them for him (and I know that they exist because I had them growing up.) They are jars with handles how do you think he would like that? They are the same size as the one in your picture. Let you know what you think
