2008 was a fun, eventful year for the Morrill's. In February Jeremy celebrated his 5th birthday and Matt and I celebrated our 6th wedding anniversary. Matt kept busy working at ESG and I had my hands full at Ludlow Engineering. In April, we decided to give ourselves a break and we headed to Disneyland. It was a great vacation. The kids loved it almost as much as me and Matt.
The summer was filled with parties and celebrations.
We celebrated Memorial Day by going to Jump On It:
We went to Zions:
We did Relay for Life:
We partied down at the park for the 4th of July:
We celebrated the Ute Stampede:
We went on road trips to Promontory Point:
To the Mountain Man Rendezvous in Wyoming:
And up the Canyon to sail some boats:
Louis and Sheridy came out to visit from Kansas City and we took some cute family pictures:
Jeremy had fun playing T-ball for his second year. Brett (one of my bosses) was his coach. And once again, he took it VERY serious.
We celebrated the Summer of Movies and even watched a few on the side of Mom's house:
Jeremy started Kindergarten in August:
And Bailee started preschool:
Towards the end of the summer, we welcomed Cory and Sharon into our home. They only stayed with us for a few months, but we made some awesome memories:
We went hiking up at Dad and Son's (Bear Canyon):
Took the kids bowling:
and visited "Devil's Kitchen"
When fall rolled around, we took our annual pilgrimage up for pictures:
We started a new Halloween tradition of going to see "Thriller"
We visited the "witches" at Gardner Village:
For Halloween, Jeremy wanted to be a Scarecrow and so we had Bailee be Dorothy:
As we prepared for Thanksgiving, Matt decided it was time to change jobs (he was coming up on his year mark and we all know he never stays at one place too long) so he headed over to Pinnacle Security. We're all taking bets as to how long he stays here. Meanwhile, the kids geared up for their Primary Program:
Bailee celebrated her 4th birthday with Rachel:
The kickoff to the holiday season for the Morrill's began with going to the forgotten carols:
And then we headed down to Las Vegas for the NFR:
It has been a fun-filled year at the Morrill house. So, in case you were wondering, there is always a party going on at the Morrill house. Stop by and have some fun with us!!!! We wish you all a Very Merry Christmas filled with fun and memories that will last a lifetime!!
