I live in a small town. People stop in the middle of the road to say hi. Everybody knows everything about everybody (which sometimes isn't a good thing), and people are just plain happy. This weekend was the tree lighting ceremony. I love this time of year and my town goes all out to celebrate the holidays.
After the tree lighting ceremony, the Juab Fine Arts Council holds the first annual Christmas light parade. It was beautiful. The kids had so much fun. They even had some floats that were giving out ornaments. Santa opens the parade riding the fire engine.
Bailee got an ornament from one of the floats.
It was a magical night and a perfect way to kick off the Christmas celebrations. I sure do love our town.

I think that the weather even cooperated a little bit. it wasn't freezing at least. The city did a whole bunch of lights at different parks and memorials all around town. it's pretty.
I didn't know that Nephi did a big parade like that. And what tree did they light?
The light the ENTIRE old mill park and they have a bunch of other places around town that they have decorated with lights.
I love your town too! I can't believe they have a light parade now. They are really moving up in the world.
I sure do love your new look. I need to come so you can teach me where you are finding all the cuteness!
The parade was awesome, just like in the Christmas movies. It made you feel all warm inside and happy that Christmas was here.
Yeah, they didn't do that when I was little. What a great tradition.
