A LONG September

It has been a LONG September, and now it is finally over!  This summer Matt and I were discussing whether or not he should go back to grad school.  In August, Matt finally decided that the timing was right, so we started scrambling to get everything in order.  The deadlines were closer than we thought.  So Matt spent the past four weeks studying for the GMAT.  He would come home from work about 5:30 and spend the rest of the night in the spare bedroom studying, only to emerge to eat some burnt dinner and come to bed around 11:30.
Saturday, Matt took the GMAT with a 600 score!!!  That should get him into grad school.  I was up at the Relief Society General Broadcast when Matt called with the good news.  Relief has spread through the Morrill household and we are now looking forward to the beginning and school.
Not that it hasn't been all bad.  We have had a lot of support from family and friends.  People have mowed our lawns, cooked us dinner, watched the kids, and helped with paying for everything.  So we are very blessed to have so many people who want to see us succeed.  But still, I think both Matt and I are VERY glad that September is almost over.

You got that last line right. September can be done and over with and I won't even miss it. My score better be good enough to get me in because I'm not taking it again . :)

I think it is great that you did so good with only studying for 4 weeks. Way to go. It is always a good choice to try to better your workability and strengthen your position so you have more security in the job market. What you are going will be a very good thing in the end.
