Temples. Matt and I have caught the vision and have started going on to the new family search in search of ancestors we can perform work for. So for FHE we decided to include our children in the work we are doing. To start off, we watched a video that showed all the temples on the earth - 130 total. The kids enjoyed seeing pictures of the beautiful grounds and the exterior of the temples. 
Next, we went over a list of pictures that would pertain to the temple. 
After the list we had a little craft. We talked about the things we can do to be worthy to enter the temple. We put them on bushes and decorated the outside of the temple with out little family standing there. 
And the finished product: 
I had made little temple recommends with their names on it and some sayings from the Prophet. Matt got recommend holders from Deseret Book and we presented the kids with their "special" recommend in its holder. We reminded them to always make good choices that would keep them worthy to enter the temple. 
They were so excited, this morning Bailee even ran downstairs and out the door to show Grandma her special recommend. The kids had a blast and hopefully they will remember the importance of the temple.

they were so great. I loved the little craft that we did, especially putting the cutout of our family in front of the temple. the little slideshow Abby found was great also. I hope our kids remember this awesome FHE. Good job honey.
