So Matt's profession is somewhat, how shall I say, BORING. I don't like numbers. The sad thing about it is, Matt LOVES talking about numbers and reconciliations and ledgers. He could go on and on and on (trust me I know this from experience). A few years ago we were driving up to Nephi. It was late and Matt was getting TIRED. One little sentence changed all that. "So Matt, what are you learning about in your accounting class?" Suddenly, a constant hum of accounting terms is being thrown at me and my eyelids start to get heavy and I was out and sawing logs in a matter of minutes. Matt, however, was wide awake.
So last night, I could not sleep. I was tired but I just couldn't sleep. Matt started to drift off and I knew that if he continued, he would be asleep and I would be up for at least a couple hours. Desperate I leaned over and asked, "What did you do at work today?" Suddenly he sits up and starts yammering about payroll and GL stuff. I listened for a few minutes and then my brain shut off and the next thing I remember was my alarm going off this morning. I tell ya, it's better than any sleeping pill.

well, what can i say, it's a gift and a curse. I always say that accounting takes a certain type, and not everybody's that type. I however, do like it...most of the time. I'm glad that i could help you out last night, otherwise, both of us would have had to have been up for a long time.
That is really funny!! I should try that out some time with louis and the medical terms! The only problem is he is usually asleep long before I make it up the stairs.
I love it. I don't even know what to say. I'm laughing too hard.
That is really great to have your own personal brand of sleeping aid. How lucky is that. Now you know it works every time you need to use it more often.
This way you don't have to deal with the hangover from pills.
