My Resolve Has Gone

Over the past few months, my resolve has completely diminished. Cory and Sharon are to blame. All of my family and friends have said to me, at least once, that I should open up my own travel agency because I plan things so well, especially Disneyland trips.
Over Presidents Day weekend, Sharon called and said that she has decided to take a last minute trip to Disneyland. So we started looking for hotels, but I noticed the fine print on their Military tickets stated that they were blocked out during Presidents Day!! So they settled for going in September. The hotels were cheaper and it gave me more time to plan everything. But that planted a little seed of a spontaneous Disneyland vacation. So Matt and I would spend our nights looking at pictures and posts about the Happiest Place on Earth and started to compile and plan for Cory and Sharon. We started talking about our big Bailey family trip in December. Then we started talking about another Morrill Family trip. I sent out an email and Matt called Brandon and Angie. They were a go. The next day I called Sharon. I thought that since they were going in September they would pass, but they agreed without hesitation. Then I called Shauna and she said yes, but we would have to stop her from hopping in her car to go look for Elder Leavitt in the area. So Matt and I started thinking that since we were going in December and then again in February, it would make sense to get an annual pass. Then we started thinking some more ………
Matt had the bright idea “You know Abby, if we are going to get an annual pass, we could get one now and go now and celebrate our 10 year anniversary. Plus that would be an extra trip and make it more of a good deal. I know how you like a good deal.”
For some odd reason I was resolved to stay home and just get one in December. But this year has been pretty hard on me: sickness, school, tests, anxiety, and March. My resolve to not go was slowly fading until one morning I woke up to the freezing snow outside the window and I said “Matt, lets do it. Lets book it..” And that was all it took. So last week we booked a hotel and we are on our way tonight!!!
On the downside, I looked at the weather and it is supposed to RAIN the ENTIRE time we are there. Like the worst storm of the year. But it will Disneyland rain and maybe that will keep the local spring breakers away eh? Hopefully we will see a little sunshine and maybe this:

Alright, so it's my fault. I can't help it. I'm just a big kid at heart. Who cares if the weather will be a bit wet. We're not just your average fair weathered vacationers. We're Morrills. Bad weather is in our blood. It follows where ever we go. I say Let's go before Abby changes her mind!
