So Matt signed Jeremy up for Midnight Express Wrestling, and he is VERY excited about it. I personally don’t understand the lure or excitement about wrestling, but both Jeremy and Matt were into it. They hold practices on Wednesday and Thursday and then they have tournaments on Friday and Saturday. Now most tournaments were pretty far away (like St. George) so after glancing at the schedule, he was only able to attend two of the wrestling meets. Saturday was Jeremy’s first wrestling meet in North Sanpete. I had to take a test that day, so I missed it. Matt was more than happy to have it just be the boys. They got their early enough for Jeremy to weigh in at a whopping 50 lbs:

He lost pretty quickly. :) His second match was about the same: 
But he did get a “participation” medal: 
He was very excited about that. So Matt and Jeremy came home. That night we had our usual Lenhart Psych party complete with the traditional Chicken Salad. Verena and I always get waaaay too much: 
It was the perfect ending to the day, even if we did lose an hour thanks to daylight savings!

I was so proud of him. It's his first time and he was super nervous about it. He's got his other tournament coming up next Saturday in Millard. He'll do better. It's the nerves I tell ya. He really tried hard, no matter how briefly it lasted.
