Disneyland Day Three Part One

Magic Morning: We woke up to a light mist so we put on our ponchos and headed over to the park. Our first ride was Peter Pan:

Then we headed over to Snow White and Pinocchio:

Then we headed over to Tomorrowland to ride Star Tours. We loved it so much we rode it 3 times in a row:

Next we hit up Buzz:

By now the park was open so Matt grabbed a fast pass for Space and we headed over to Thunder Mountain Railroad:

Because we had gotten up so early, we missed breakfast so after our runaway train ride, we headed over to River Belle Terrace for some breakfast. After Matt’s belly was full we headed over to Pirates:

And since we were already wet we figured we would take a log ride down Splash Mountain:

And since we were in the area we went on Winnie the Pooh:

The park was pretty much empty. So Matt took the kids on Indiana Jones while Mom and I went to get more fast passes. We even hit up Buzz again but our scores were so bad we didn’t want a record of them.

By now the rain was starting to come, so we hoofed it over to California Adventure and the animation building.

We caught the turtle talk with crush show and there were only a few people in there so Jeremy, Bailee, and Matt all got to chat with the sea turtle. Next we ran over to the Muppets Movie:

By now the kids were wet and Matt was tired so Mom and I sent them back to the room while we went to the ticket booth to upgrade our tickets to annual passes. Afterward we went over to world of Disney so Mom could get some souvenirs. It was here that mom had the bright idea of getting the nicer Disney ponchos. They were heavier and kept us dryer the rest of the day. Then we headed back to the hotel room and got ready for our last night at Disneyland.
Coming up….Rain = Empty Parks.

AndI am so grateful for those nicer Disney Ponchos. They kept the wet off for the rest of the day. Great idea Patsy, we would have been soaked to the bones without them. The upside to it raining at Disneyland is that there are very few people out to clog up the lines. The bad part about it, it really comes down and gets you very wet. It wouldn't have been too bad if it were in warmer weather, but it was March and got a bit chilly. It was still a really good day because we got to see a bunch of shows.

This was a very interesting visit to Disneyland. Thenew ponchos made it lots better, I didn't mind it at all. We had a great time and got to do all we wanted.
