This year, for mom’s birthday she decided in lieu of gifts she wanted everyone to come up and paint her house. So we all gathered and got ready to paint. Thursday was the prep night: 
After everything was ready, mom wanted a few things moved around. So the boys tried to move the couch downstairs:

After tearing apart the couch (as per Justin’s suggestion) 
they finally made it down to the family room:

Very nice! So what does the big room look like? and is she going to keep that couch down stairs? or are they going to have to take it apart and haul it back upstairs?

Well, i think I've had my fill of painting for at least...another...week or two. I'm glad we could help out to make Lynn and Patsy's place a more enjoyable place for them to live.
You need to have an after picture because both rooms look absolutely great. There is nothing like new paint in a room to lift your spirts. Looks like a new place again. Thanks a lot everybody. You gave 2-1/2 days out of your lives and I appreciate it. It was the best birthday present ever. I love you all.
