Clear back in September, we went up to Salt Lake to get a new suit for Matt’s interviews. While we were there, Rob took Jeremy over to the boys suits and said, “Now Jeremy, a few weeks before you get baptized, come up and we’ll get you a nice new suit.”
So we went home that night and Jeremy circled January 8 on his calendar. Saturday rolled around and he was up at 8 AM ready to go get his suit. Mom called Rob and he said to come up at 4. So little Jeremy had to wait 8 excruciating hours. But his moment finally came. He walked right in there and said he was ready to get his suit. And Rob certainly took care of him:

It looks big, but it will be tailored to fit. As we were paying, I wanted to get a 3 generation picture with Rob. 
Although some may not think it, but it is SO worth it to drive all that way. He is getting so big. Before I know it, we will be up there getting Jeremy’s missionary clothes. Ahhh!

We did have a great time. He thought this was quite the deal and so it was. I have been friends with Rob a long time. We are lucky to have someone take such good care of us for 3 generations now.

Let me tell you. It didn't take long for Rob to figure out what was important in a suit for Jeremy: the number of pockets on the inside of the jacket. Then Rob found a nice color with I think 4 pockets on the inside of jacket and Jeremy was all over it. Rob was so thoughtful of Jeremy with his first suit. Rob called me yesterday to let me know that Jeremy's suit arrived and is being tailored and he also told me that he wrote and mailed out a "Thank You" to Jeremy and to keep an eye out for it. It was a very special trip.
Wow that is so awesome. It made me start to cry a little bit. What a special picture. Jeremy is getting so big. Can't wait to see his new suit.
Jeremy is the man. He's going to look so good in that suit. Can't wait to see him. What an exciting time for him. It feels like just yesterday we were all sitting around in the hospital waiting for him to make his grand entrance into this world. We sure do love him.
