DISNEYLAND DAY 2 PART 1
Since there was no early entry today, we got up and were at the gates for opening at 8AM. We headed right to fantasyland. We went on Peter Pan:
and Mr. Toads Wild Ride and then Dumbo:
After our ride on Dumbo we wanted to ride Alice in Wonderland, but when we walked up their, we saw that it wasn’t running at the moment. So, much to the parents dismay, we climbed aboard a teacup and spun until we were all dizzy.
I love the joy on little Meggers face as Grandma spins the teacup.
As we were exiting the teacups, we saw that Alice was up and running so we jumped in line.
* a little side note here. Megan WOULD NOT leave Grandma’s side. If someone else tried to push her in the stroller she would have a fit and every ride we went on, Megan insisted on riding with Grandma. They were best friend.
After our jaunt down the rabbit hole, everyone wanted to go on the Matterhorn. I decided to opt out and run and get fast passes for Space Mountain and Dad stayed with Megan (since she is still too small to ride). You can tell this is our group because of all the orange shirts and mom’s white hair:
So after everyone got off the Matterhorn it was 9 AM and toontown was opening, so we headed over to see the Big Cheese and surprisingly, there was no wait. We walked right up:
Then we saw the Minnie had no wait:
Aww look, Minnie gets love notes on the refrigerator too:
Goofy was over by his house and there was a little bit of a line so the kids played around while we waited:
Then it was our turn to meet the old Goof:
Then we saw that there was NO line for Gadgets Go-Coaster.
Then we left Toontown and headed to It’s A Small World. Dad tried to sit this ride out, but mom went and grabbed him and forced him on the boat:
As we entered the tunnel, Dad put up as best a protest as he could: "
As we were exiting the ride, Jeremy wanted to take a picture of me and Matt. Not bad eh. Notice how disgusted dad is in the background:
After our cruise around the world it was 10:00 so we decided to start saving places for the Jedi Training Academy at 10:30. Bailee actually got picked this time, along with Jeremy:
But when Darth Vader came out. Bailee was too scared to fight. She just sat with the kids that already had a turn. Jeremy actually got to fight Darth Maul this time and he was very intense:
After the training Acadmy we decided to take a ride on Space Mountain. Mom doesn’t like that ride so she stayed out with Megan:
We still had a little bit more time before our lunch reservation so we all went on Buzz Lightyear. For some reason the scores on all the pictures need to be swapped:
So dad got 42,900 and Jeremy got 4,300
Yah, Matt got the big score. I stink at these games.
I’m not quite sure what happened to Rachel and Bailee’s photo. So now it was time for lunch at the Carnation Cafe. I had the loaded baked potato soup and it is THE best soup I have every tasted. It was so, so, so goood.
After lunch we headed back to the hotel for a nap and to get ready for the Trick or Treat Party that night.

I love our shirts and so did everyone else. They were jealous. You can see we used our time very wisely and that this is the vacation of new eating experiences. The carnation cafe was very yummy and if you have a reservation you don't have to wait very long. We had another fun day and couldn't quit smiling.
The shirts made it way easy to spot our group in a crowd. The food was very good. yes,I am that good at shooting stuff at Buzz. Abby blames it on me that she does so bad...even when I let her drive the space craft thingy.
The shirts was an awesome idea. I loved them except that in all the pictures they made me look way big. Oh well, we got alot of stuff done that day. The carnation cafe was way good. I was surprised at how good. I would eat there again.
