Summer of Movies 2009 Part Two

Here we go again. It was a busy 2nd part of the summer so we haven't been out to as many movies.
Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen: It was certainly action packed and I was on the edge of my seat most of the movie. The budget was a lot bigger and they traveled to different parts of the world. There was a bit more crude humor than the first one, but it was an ok movie.
Transformers 2
Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince: One of my pet peeves is when people compare movies to their books. First of all, it is never going to be completely identical. You can't fit hundreds of pages worth of plot and storyline into a script. It was a good movie. The end was a little anti-climatic because I think the director was hoping that fans would fill in the blanks by reading the book. I'm excited for the final film.
Harry potter
G.I.Joe: The Rise of the Cobra: I LOVED this movie. It was full of action and a lot of introductory character development. Some people have said that it was a little far fetched, but looking back at the cartoon, all their technology was far fetched: a weather detonator, weaponized foliage, etc. So I think the movie stayed true to the cartoon. Any fan will love it. I can't wait to see the introduction of Lady Jaye, Shipwreck, and Roadblock. By the way, Snake Eyes has always been my favorite, and he didn't disappoint.
GI Joe
There it is the last of the Summer of Movies. I'm looking forward to Toy Story 3 coming out in October, A Christmas Carol, and of course, New Moon. Let me know if you want to join me.

Sweet! They were an excellent selection of movies. I have to say that GI Joe was my favorite with Transformers coming in second. It's one of the best parts of summer! The summer of movies every year.

All the movies were great, but the one I thought was totally awesome was Transformers Revenge of the fallen. It was a movie I felt I could watch over and over again. GI Joe is a close second.
What a summer of movies. Hopefully next year the movies are just as good.

Well I only saw Harry Potter and I liked it. Louis had to fill in the blanks for me. but I'd have to say it was my favorite out of all of them. Heck It was the only summer movie I saw.

I got to see GI JOe and I really liked that one too. I thought it was very action packed every minute. No lag at all. Can't wait to see the rest when they come out on video or at the $1 movies. They sound really great.
