What was that?!?

Sunday I had to stay a little after church to help the Beehives get their interviews for Baptisms for the Dead.  I told Jeremy when I got home from church that I was going to go to Baptisms for the Dead on Friday.  He looked at me with a confused look and went downstairs to change out of his church clothes.  So this morning as I was getting ready for work I hear Bailee and Jeremy talking in the spare bedroom.  "Yes she is, she told me," Jeremy states matter-of-factly to Bailee.  They continue to argue back and forth until Jeremy and Bailee come up to me and Jeremy says, "Mom, tell Bailee that you are going to raise the dead today."

Ha! that's the boy for you. He trusts his mom completely (which he has every reason to). I love it. The conversations those two have sometimes is hilarious.

How funny is that. I had never thought of baptisms for the dead like that before. Kind of makes sense, doesn't it? Just a little? In a round about sort of way? Symbolicly?
Okay, I'll stop now.

Kids do say the darndest things. We think we are speaking clearly to them and they get a totally different message.
