One of the benefits of living next door to my parents is when Lori texts me and says she has 6 tickets to the Jazz game tonight and we are leaving in 30 minutes, I can grab some PJs and send my kiddos for a sleepover at their grandparents house.
After sorting around Matt’s work schedule, and calling the Fowkes’ we were on our way to the Energy Solutions arena. Sure, the Smiths has to find 3 different babysitters, and the Fowkes’ had to drive up to Payson to drop their kids off with family there, and we had to stop and pick up Matt in Orem, but we made it to the game with time to spare!!
Sure, most of the time might have been spent on my phone uploading photos or checking other posts, but it was fun night with some awesome friends.
Everyone kept calling Cody John Stockton. The Jazz were leading the entire game up until the last 5 minutes and then they lost by 1 point in a nail biter finish. However, the highlight of the night was the ride home. It was great driving and laughing about any and everything, and honestly, sometimes the spontaneous trips are the best ones. Thanks everyone for making it a wonderful night!!!

It was totally awesome. It was good time spent with good friend enjoying a unique Utah experience. My only complaint: the hick (and that's coming from someone who lives in Nephi) Clippers fans who were sitting right behind us.
Hmmm, I think I need some kind of payback for being so congenial. Whadoya think?
