Disneyland Day Two part Two

After our break at the hotel, we headed back to California Adventure for the 5:00 Pixar Play Parade.  Because they have extended the route to cover almost all of California Adventure, you can pretty much get a decent seat just 20 minutes before it starts.

I like the parade at night, partly because they don’t spray you with water (the shoot bubbles) and I like all the lights.  It is like it is a different parade.

After the parade, we headed over to Cars Land to use our Fast Passes.  I much prefer this method as opposed to first thing in the morning.  It was lit up just like the movie.

After the racers, Jenny and Linsey and families went to get something to eat (we ate at the hotel).
So we headed over to give Luigis a whirl.

I know there have been a lot of bad reviews online, but oh man, once you get going, this ride is hilarious and actually pretty fun.  Maybe you just have to do it at night when you are tired!!  Afterward, we headed through Bugs Land to ride:


It was almost time for the 8:15 world of color so we headed over to Paradise Pier to wait.  Throughout the day, my sweet little niece has been terrified of every single ride we have gone on, we thought she might like World of Color……we were wrong:

It was amazing though, they added some Christmas elements, some clips from Brave (which I LOVED), and the usual.

The park was closed after it was over, so most of the group headed back to the hotel, but the girls wanted to do some shopping at World of Disney, so we cut through the Grand Californian lobby.  The tree was amazing.
