Biscuits and Basketball

Last week the kids came home with tickets to the Flash Game that Saturday.  Matt called the Smith’s to see if they would like to join us for a night out.  They got a babysitter and brought Taylor who is Bailee’s age.  We left at 4 because they needed to run some errands.  As we were wandering around home depot we tried to keep the girls entertained while the boys perused the aisles.  To keep them busy we had them find different colors of items around the store.  Here was the pink item they found:

as we were running out colors we decided to get a little more creative and asked if they could find something that had a princess on it:

After Home Depot we headed out to Red Lobster where we ate biscuit after biscuit.  It was tasty.  Then we made it to the Flash game.

When I was in High School I LOVED basketball.  I was on our high school team and we were region champs and usually I enjoy watching a good game, but I just wasn’t into that night, so Lori and I went to check out the Down East sale that was going on across the way.

After half-time we decided to change seats so we were a little closer to the action.  Jeremy came up to me and said that if I bought him a little basketball, he’d give me some money when we got home.  He was a happy camper after that:

Throughout the entire game, there was a guy sitting on the floor that was intensely into the game.  He would stand up and flail around, it was hilarious, so I made Matt take a picture of him.  Of course when I want a picture, he calms down.

After the game, we hop in the car and giggle the whole way home.  It was a fun night and we were glad to get out with some friends and have some fun!!

Ah! It was a good way to use some free Flash Tickets. Yes, it was the Flash so no real big whoop. Besides, they ended up winning by like 25 points. It was kind of fun to watch the girls running around Home Depot looking for different things. Dinner was really good, as it always is at Red Lobster.

Sounds like a lot of fun. We may have to take a the boys and let them experience a Flash game.

Ya we had a good game when we went. It was fun and Tyler was having a blast! It's pretty fun when it's cheap or free!

Glad you had fun. That is an interesting game to play with the girls. I will have to remember that when we go to home depot. I love Red Lobster and their biscuits are good. "They put an addictive chemical in them that make you crave them fortnightly." :)
