Saturday we kept with tradition and headed up to Gardner Village. It didn't feel like a fall day. It was HOT!! Linsey came up for the weekend, and we took all the girls to get Bewitched:
We got our scavenger hunt papers and we were on the hunt for some witches. Our first stop:
I had Bailee take the next picture:
Playing the Piano:
I love the title of this picture, "Witchy Poo":
Red Hat Society:
Looking at the ducks. Well I think Megan is just hanging on for dear life:
Me and my girl:
Little Meggers is such a cutie:
A witch brewing a potion. Too bad Bailee was completely washed out:
And I found the best book on her shelf. Its the top book, see:
A froggy witch:
Just Bailee:
Rachel and Bailee wanted to find ALL the witches on our list, even this pumpkin carving witch that was out in the middle of nowhere:
I think they enjoyed it the most out of everyone:
Bailee wanted to take another picture:
And then she wanted one taken of her:
We finally found all the witches and then the girls headed to bakery to redeem their cookie and we loaded in the car and headed to lunch at TGI Fridays:
And then we did some shopping to get ready for our trip to California. We overestimated how much room we had in my already crammed Explorer, but Mom made the best of it:
It was great to able to be together with all the girls but Sheridy (we miss you guys) and a perfect way to celebrate the fall.

Traditions. They've got to keep going. :) I love seeing you and Bailee doing things together and strengthening your friendships. I don't know why, but Bailee really loves witches. I was going to tell a story about how a little child was ensnared and then eaten by a witch, but I decided that that's just too much of a killer story. Ha! I crack myself up sometimes.
Girls day out like that are the best. However If I was there it wouldn't have been very fun I would have just been more bagage for you in your car. I can't walk very well with out being in pain all day and night. So it was great to just look at the pictures. glad you all had a great time.
It was a great day. Three generations of just the "Gils." I enjoyed it even when it was crowded. We really spent the whole day together laughing and talking. Love those traditions.
Gardner Village is a fun place. Haven't been there for several years, though. You are making fun memories for Bailee, for sure.
I loved gardner village. It was a lot of fun. I am glad I was able to go this time. This is a tradition I will have to make sure and do every year. I think we need to go at christmas time and see what it is like.
