Merry Christmas!! Things have been whirl-wind crazy at the Morrill house this year. To begin, we lost a beloved Mother, Wife and Grandmother. Cindy succumb to her battle with cancer in June:
We are so very grateful for the plan of salvation and for the knowledge that this parting is only temporary and we will be reunited again.
It has also been a very happy year.
There have been several milestones we have reached this year. Beginning in February with Jeremy turning 8 and getting baptized:
In May, Matt graduated the University of Utah with his Masters: And Bailee graduated from Kindergarten:
Jeremy also had his very first Pinewood Derby:
In September, BOTH of our kids are now in school all day:
and we also said goodbye to the first Missionary in the family. Elder Zach Leavitt will be serving in California for the next two years:
When rumors started flying around about a temple being built in Payson, we found out that it was true and we were able to go to the ground breaking with Elder Oaks:
Then in November Bailee turned 7:
Once again, this year was filled with fun and a lot of celebrating. We’ve had Psych parties: Gone to ball games:
We’ve gone to the zoo:
We went to Shoshone Falls:
Holly took me to Vegas for my 31st birthday:
We took Verena to the Sound of Music for her birthday:
For my birthday Matt got me tickets to the DCFC concert and we went in August:
Fall rolled around and the Spookfest celebrating began. We went to Dinsosaurland:
We went on a full-moon lift ride up at Sundance:
We’ve also started what will hopefully be a new tradition of visiting Lagoon during Frightmares:
We’ve also kept with some old traditions. We went up to Salt Lake for General Conference in April:
and in October:
We’ve gone to Thriller. This time we went with Holly:
The kids also did the Primary Program:
We also made our annual trip to California. We went with Matt’s family:
As you can see, we’ve had a lot of fun this year. However, we were met with a new challenge this November. Matt’s company merged with another and Matt was laid off. We have felt all of the prayers from all of our friends and family. You truly are amazing and wonderful people! And because of all of your faith, Matt has been blessed with a new job where he can start immediately. Heavenly Father has truly blessed our family, not just with employment, but so many wonderful people we get to associate with. We love you more than words can say. Thank you for being there for us and for all the prayers and fasting on our behalf. Merry CHRISTmas. May the spirit of Christ be in all our lives this holiday season!!

It's been a full year!! A good one, and a bad one, but glad that it's finally coming to an end. Have a Merry Christmas!
It's amazing when you look back at all the things that can go on in a years time. It's been quite a roller coaster ride. We've had many wonderful times and some very sad times. It's the people with whom you experiance these times with that make the difference and our family has been blessed with the best sort of company. Thanks to everyone who made our year memorable. Christ trully is why we celebrate this time of year. He is our Savior and our Redeemer.
I think the good has outweighed the bad, but I am so glad that we came through with our testimonies intact and a knowledge that God loves us and will help us with anything in our life. Love you all and Merry Christmas. May life would not be the same without my wonderful family to celebrate each and every day.
