I got a phone call about a month ago asking if I would help out with the elementary school carnival. So I said yes and Thursday was the night. Jeremy informed us that he was old enough now that he didn’t need a parent chaperone to go to each booth, so he took off once Matt gave him his ticket. I was stuck at a booth on the far south side of the school while Matt took Bailee to all of the activities.
Somehow, Matt got hooked up with Smiths and they spent the evening fighting the crowds and playing the games:
Matt managed to find something that caught his attention:
So after my hour was up I was out the door (even though the other mom volunteer tried to bribe me into staying) and we headed home. I think next year we might go up to Cornbelly’s in lieu of the Halloween carnival. Happy Halloween everyone!!

This looked like a great time for the kids. Helping out is a good thing too. Good place for the them to have some fun.
And I thought that lines at Disneyland were bad! Stand around for 20 minutes for a 10 second activity. That's alright though. The kids had a blast and it was worth it to see them smile.
Looks like the kids had fun. I had to help out at our schools Halloween carnival and it was alright but I would have liked to take the kids around. I ended up being stuck all night. Oh well I agree helping out is good once in a while.
