To start off, I got to work this morning and found this poem from my loving hubby. Yes, it isn’t Robert Frost, but he is just so cute:
There is nobody in this life
Who makes me feel like you do.
You are my loving wife,
And like you there aren’t two.
You are as sweet as the rain drops
That fall on the soft spring leaves.
Your depth is as high to the mountain tops
To depths of the deepest seas.
I love you in the morning, afternoon, and night
The thought of living without you gives me awful fright.
You’re my truest friend, my strongest pillar of might.
I know I can do anything with you standing by my side.
The ride has been rocky, rough, and tough.
It’s been smooth and nice, and always with love.
If there is one thing that I want to say on this Valentine’s Day,
It’s that I love you for who you are, and with you I’ll always stay.
Love you sweetheart,
Pookie.
This past weekend we went on our Valentines/Anniversary date. Since Matt’s birthday is in February, we always get a free meal voucher for Tucanos, so Matt got us reservations. It was also their Valentines celebration so we got candles on our table along with chocolate covered strawberries and a rose:
After dinner we walked around the Riverwoods for a while. We stopped at the Provo Beach Resort where they have indoor surfing!! Anyone want to go? Matt was ready for the waves if it wasn’t for that pesky shark:
They have really stepped up the romance factor at Riverwoods, lights everywhere:
It was cold enough to have these little fire pillars over everywhere:
Our next stop was the Wiseguys Comedy Club. Matt got on their website and discovered they have a hypnotist every Saturday night. At first we were a little leery because some of those places can be a little risqué but it stated there was no alcohol and it was open to all ages, so we decided to go for it. I also found a buy one get one free coupon, so that even sweetened the deal!!
When the guy sold us the tickets he said they tend to sell out the hypnotist show so we should be at the doors at 8:30, so we waited in the lobby:
Once we were let in, there was a stage and then they had a few tables in the front with chairs to sit around and then rows of chairs in the back.
It was two hours of hilarity. The people that were hypnotized were so funny. And for only $10 you can’t beat that. It was a great night to be with my sweetheart! Love you pookie!

It was a wonderful evening to be had with the best woman a guy could ever dream about. Love you sweetheart, and here's looking to many more.
Wow what a good day. I am glad you had fun. I have never been to Tucanos looks like you didn't leave hungry and the chocolate covered strawberries look really good. What a good evening.
