It FINALLY happened. Bailee lost her first tooth. It has been loose and wiggling for about a month now and last night we decided it was time for a visit from the tooth fairy. She was VERY anxious:
Matt got the dental floss:
Then the screaming began. She screamed and screamed. She would not be consoled:
until we mentioned the tooth fairy. She calmed down long enough to say she wanted to go see Grandma. So off we went. By the time we got home, she was happy little girl who "claims" that tooth pulling isn't that bad.
Such a big girl. :)

Too be honest, I don't think I've ever heard her scream like she did since the day she was born. I don't think even then she was that bad. Her whole body went so rigid you could have taken her surfing. She was very excited and proud when the tooth fairy paid her a visit though. The terror only lasted a couple of minutes after the tooth was actually extracted. Our kids are all grown up and losing their teeth.
Hahaha... I totally know how that is. Try dealing with that screaming and no consolling 4 times in 3 months. I'm glad she finally let you pull it with out screaming.
She told me she was screaming because she was scared, not that it would hurt. Now she knows its not too bad maybe the rest will be easier.
How quickly they forget the pain! She's so grown up, going to school and losing her teeth. Way to go, Bailee.
Bailee!!
What a big girl you are. You have lost your first tooth. Next time it won't be so scarey and remember the tooth fairy always comes.
Grandma Cindy
LOVE YOU
