I'll give my kids credit for one thing - they are creative. 
So here's the story, I was sitting on the Patio and saw the whole thing the exact way it went down. Matt had just finished mowing the back lawn. He stops the mower and heads to the grill to check on the burgers. Off in the corner I see Jeremy poke his little head around the fence. He sees that his Dad is no longer on the mower. He seizes his opportunity! He runs, and I mean runs to the lawn mower, wraps a rope around the back and runs back behind the fence. Seconds later I see Jeremy poke his little head around the fence again. He sees that his Dad went in the house to get a glass of water so he seizes his opportunity again! Except this time he was towing the wagon behind him. He puts the wagon a few feet behind the mower with just enough slack that you couldn't see the rope connected to anything. And then he runs back behind the fence again. Matt comes back out and I am waiting in anticipation to see what is going to happen next. Behind the fence I see a few more bodies silently waiting. Matt starts up the lawn mower and puts it into gear. Suddenly, a kamikaze attack hits Matt and the lawnmower. Jeremy, Bailee, and Rachel dive for the wagon before Matt can notice them.

Matt turns around and sees three little kids just scrambling to get into the wagon before he can notice that it is tied to the lawnmower. He points at them with a confused look on his face and looks at me. I just shrug my shoulders, it wasn't me, it was all Jeremy. Matt was a good sport and let them reap the fruits of their labors though.

I have got to hand it to those kids. They sure are creative. I wouldn't have thought to do something like that when I was their age. They had a lot of fun and that is what being a kid is all about. I just wished I brought my camera that weekend. I am such a slacker.

I didn't know that's how it happened!! Leave it to Jeremy!! He always has a great idea!! Nice!! Yes that was a great time! Seeing how much fun they all had and you are right Linsey!! That is what being a kid is all about!!
