Saturday Matt woke up early and headed to the Temple Groundbreaking site to save Jeremy and I a seat. It was an amazing morning even though it was raining. We got pretty good seats:
Mom and Dad got to sit up front:
Matt and Jeremy walked around to kill some time before it started.
As soon as the ceremony began the rain stopped. Elder Oaks spoke about standing in Holy Places and that when the ground was dedicated it would be a Holy Place.
After the prayer, Elder Oaks instructed the details of the groundbreaking.
They let the Stake Presidents in the area come up:
After the ceremony was over, they invited everyone up to shovel some dirt:
They even let the Stake Presidents keep one of the shovels. It was a wonderful morning and I am so excited for a new temple.

Spookfest #10 – Stand In Holy Places
Spookfest #9 – Corn Maze Madness
Friday we headed up to Payson to spend the night with the Morrill’s and it was Ammon’s birthday as well. So after dinner we opened presents:
and some cake:
Isaac even had to bring his “baby” he adoringly calls Huster:
After some cake, we loaded up the cars and headed to the corn maze.
So after we paid our money, one of the workers ushered us to the “beginning” of the maze which actually was a large round about loop full of UVU signs boasting how wonderful UVU is:
Then we finally got to the actual maze.
It took about 30 minutes to find the exit.
When we got home, we changed into our PJ’s and watched the classic Halloween Show: “The Night Dracula Saved the World.”
Then the men hopped on the plasma rider and went to town.
It was getting late so we hit the hay. It was definitely a fun and spooky night. :)

Spookfest #8 – Remember – You Matter
General Conference – oh man. It was an amazingly spiritual weekend. I came to this conference with questions in my heart seeking answers and Heavenly Father answered all of them. We started the weekend off with a tasty dinner at Outback and then the kids insisted on going swimming:
Little Lexie was in good spirits as well:
The next morning we were up and all set to go to the first session of Conference. It was a beautiful morning:
I love walking through the temple grounds.
And we had to take our usual picture:
We were on the balcony this time:
Every speaker was amazing and said things I truly needed to hear.
After the session we walked through temple square on our way back to our car:
It was an amazing weekend!! I am so grateful for the knowledge that I am not invisible and that my Heavenly Father loves me.
