With this new job, my schedule is completely off. I had to work on my actual birthday, but that didn’t stop us from celebrating. I got off work at 8 on Saturday. We picked up the Smiths and headed to the theater to watch THE AVENGERS!! I have been so excited for this movie. I am a huge comic book geek. We met the rest of the family there, and while we were waiting for the movie to start, everyone decided that they should sing happy birthday to me. My face went immediately red. Then all of sudden, the rest of the theater joined in and then clapped at the end. It was fun. The movie was great.
Monday, Matt took off work so we could have a whole day to celebrate. We grabbed some Subway sandwiches and had mom drop us off up at Bear Canyon. It was the perfect day:
We had a little picnic and then we proceeded to ride our bikes down the canyon.
It was a quiet Monday morning until we got on the freeway. Then there were plenty of cars zooming past. We looped up around the golf course, got a couple of slurpees, and sat on a blanket in the park talking. It was a memorable birthday, and I was very glad I got to spend it with my sweetheart.

It really was a wonderful day honey. I'm grateful that I was able to spend it with you as I am grateful that I get to spend the rest of eternity with you. Thanks for getting born. :) You're the best. We'll have to do the ride again sometime.
This sounds like a great birthday to me. I am glad you were born also. Love you.
