I've got to admit, I think I've got a sour taste in my mouth for the Ute Stampede. We went to the parade and the kids grabbed candy a plenty:

That night we went to the rodeo and I was less than impressed. The clowns jokes were worse than any previous year and the kids weren't even watching the rodeo. Matt enjoyed watching the horses, but he was probably the only one. I'm still debating on whether or not we are going to go next year.
Saturday night Holly was going to the rodeo with some friends, so I told them to come over for dinner. We also invited the Smiths and the Lenharts and had a mini-Psych party. After dinner, Holly and her friends: 
headed to the rodeo, but not before some "goodbye, thanks for the grub hugs." 
Yes, I was appalled at the cowboy hat too! But she is my best friend and I love her no matter what her fashion choices are. :)
The rest of us headed down stairs for a psych-filled evening. It was hilarious as usual.
It was a decent weekend until I tore a muscle on my neck, then I was in A LOT of pain, but it is SLOWLY healing.

It was a pretty good weekend. I'm for any excuse to fire up the old BBQ and watch some psych with good company. I swear Holly's hat was staring at me at one point. I'm sorry that you got hurt baby. I had nothing to do with that....
Maybe next year will be better. I know I will like it much better without a cast on. The kids were way cute getting that candy.
They always say the Rodeo is so much better this year, and it never is. It's always the same old stuff. I didn't enjoy it like I thought I would this year. I think I'll remember that next year and just not go. SOunds like a fun weekend, though.
Man I'm sorry that the rodeo turned out to be a total flop. But I'm glad that you had a great party.
Yeah i agree the rodeo wasn't that great this year. But I will say I loved the dirt bikers. That was awesome. I don't know if I will boycott the rodeo totally. If they bring the dirt bikers next year maybe I will go and see them perform and then leave afterwards. I don't know we will see. Sorry about your injury. I am just glad you are getting better. Love you.
I liked the rodeo. The jokes were not funny at all but the entertainment was pretty good. Especially when Tyler said he was going to do bike tricks when hes older. Oh great! That's all I need right?
