Unlike most children in need of braces, I decided to wait for my awkward braces stage until I was in college, because nothing says “Hey, look at me, I’m 20 and have crooked teeth” like braces. So ladies and gentleman, may I introduce you to “Brace Face Abby” :

I was there the day that photo was taken. May I remind you all that Abby and I were dating before she had her braces removed, so I was well aware of them. She was still beautiful and as full of character as ever...metal mouth or not. Love you babe.
Those were definitely the days. The picture is gorgeous to say the least.
That's the cutest brace face I've ever seen. Really, though, I don't think anyone in braces ever looked bad at all.
