Magic Morning! For bonus park hopper tickets, it allows you to enter Fantasyland one hour before the park opens making most rides a walk-on. Cory and Sharon bought Military park hoppers so they didn’t have a magic morning. We were waiting in line and Kade comes walking up saying he didn’t want to wait for everyone to get ready, and Brandon and Angie were running a little late as well. So once the gates opened, Kade darted off to Space Mountain and we headed to Fantasyland even though Jeremy begged to go with Kade. Our first stop was Peter Pan:
Then we headed over to Snow White:
After Snow White, I get a call from Angie:
By then, Peter Pan already had a huge line, so they opted to ride Space Mountain. We moved on to Mr. Toad’s wild ride:
Bailee and I stopped for a pic in the teacup, but Matt insisted we weren’t going to ride them:
Then it was time for one of my favorites, Alice in Wonderland:
I don’t know why this kid can never look at the camera.
Like me, Bailee loves this ride, can you tell:
After our jaunt down the rabbit hole, Brandon and Angie called and were getting off Space Mountain, so we met them at Buzz Lightyear. Down with the Evil Emperor Zurg!!
Yeah Buzz Lightyear!!
When we got off Buzz, it was 9AM and the park was open, so I only had time to get a picture of Me and Bailee:
We met up with the whole group and headed over to Big Thunder Mountain Railroad:
Next we head over to Pirates of the Caribbean. By now, we have all had several people comment on our shirts, but the best comment we got was directed towards Cory and Sharon as they are waiting to get in to the park. Someone said, “Whoa!! Those are all YOUR kids.” We were total tourists. So we all head over to Pirates and we take up an ENTIRE boat. The brothers decided they needed to all ride together and almost bottomed out the boat. Sunnie wasn’t entirely sure if she liked this ride:
Once we dropped down we turned the corner and every said “Hi” to Charlie:
Coming up . . . a photo shoot for a photography magazine . . . riiiiiiiiigght.

Disneyland Day One Part Three
So we exited Space Mountain and it was sprinkling. We needed to use the Indiana Jones fast passes so we headed over to Adventureland. Because of my back, there is no way that I can ride that ride so me and Angie took the little ones to ride Pirates while the taller ones rode Indiana Jones. Once we got off Pirates we had another bathroom break and the rain really started to come down. We ran to get cover at the Jungle Cruise and we looked around and we couldn’t find Sharon. We called and called with no answer. Everyone was soaked. After about 15 minutes we got a hold of her. The plan was to head over to California Adventure and use our Tower of Terror fast passes. As we were walking down Main Street, some people decided to head back to the motel to get out of the rain. So we headed over to Tower of Terror. Even though everywhere else was empty, Tower of Terror had a 50 minute wait, but we walked right into the library with our Fast passes:
Bridger was a little hesitant, but Angie comforted him. Right Angie?
Angie had mentioned earlier that her little guys would really like Turtle Talk with Crush, so we headed over there to catch a show. Zach and Kade weren’t even remotely interested in the show so I gave them some fast passes to Soarin’. You can see how wet my jeans were:
Crush picked Matt and dubbed him: “Mighty Matt” who couldn’t blow bubbles. It was hilarious. After the show we headed over to Soarin’ to use the last of our passes. We even had enough for Zach and Kade to go again. After Soarin, Brandon and Angie decided to call it a day and Cory called saying he wanted to go on Tower of Terror, so we decided to “drop” on in for a visit. As we were waiting in the boiler room, Matt exclaims that he has the best pose for the picture and he was right:
Since we were on the back row, we were the last to get off the ride. We finally make it to the photo center and I look and see Glen shaking because he was laughing so hard. He was almost purple! He was on the phone with Shauna trying to tell him how hilarious Matt was in the picture but he was laughing and gasping for air he couldn’t speak, which made me laugh and gasp for air. Everyone was crying from laughing, mostly because of Glen’s reaction. It was great. After, Matt was getting a little grumpy, so I gave the Leavitt’s the last of the Indiana Jones fast passes and we went and grabbed a burger from taste pilots grill and then called it a night. It was a great, all be it, wet first day!!
Disneyland Day One Part Two
Next we headed over to California Adventure. I gathered everyone’s tickets and headed over to get World of Color Fast Passes while they went on Tower of Terror. Angie and Sharon decided to wait outside with the little ones and headed over to Monsters Inc. I got a blurry shot of them getting off:
Then of course we made one of our many bathroom runs:
After we headed over to the animation building to do a little turtle talking with crush:
While we were waiting little Ben spotted a pretty girl across the way, so he went over to bust out some of his sweet moves:
But the girl would have none of it. After the show I asked the twins what they thought:
Two thumbs up from the twins. While we were in the show, we got a text stating they were out of Soarin’ . So we headed over to Condor Flats to do some baby swapping. Shauna and Cory took the little ones over to Bug’s Land while the taller ones went on Grizzly River Rapids and we went on Soarin’. We met up with everyone at Bugs Land. We decided to hop on Heimlich’s Chew Chew Train, well everyone minus the teenagers and this guy:
There were so many of us, we got Heimlich all to ourselves:
After, everyone was starting to get hungry so we headed back to the hotel for lunch. We met back up with everyone over at Disneyland around 3. We decided to ride Space Mountain. Matt and I waited with the Twins and the little one:
Mmmmm. Good blanket.
While Shauna and Cory’s families rode Space:
Sunnie cracks me up in that photo.
After they got off, they took off and did Buzz Lightyear while we went on space with Brandon’s family. There was an extra ticket so Kade jumped at the chance to ride again, even if it was with Jeremy.
As we got off the ride it started to rain.
Next up . . . the rain, rain, rain came down, down, down!
