Fall of Festivities #9

THRILLER!!!
I wait all year for this show.  It is so much fun!!  For Verena's birthday this year we gave her ticket to the show.  Her birthday is in August, so she had to wait two whole months to celebrate her birthday.  And we certainly did celebrate.  Dad took Matt up to work that morning so I could catch a ride with the Lenharts.  Once word got out that we were going to Thriller, Makena decided that she needed to go as well, and Hayden is always up for anything:

We picked up Matt at work and headed to the Chef's Table:

The food was amazing even though Mace sent his plate back, and Makena wasn't shy about finishing off EVERYBODY'S plate.  :)
 

 
We mentioned we were celebrating Verena's birthday so they brought out a slice of cake with a candle and we went around the table praising the birthday girl.  The manager came over and said that because Mace's plate wasn't PERFECT he was giving us 4 additional free desserts, and you guessed it, Makena polished off every one.  :)  It was the BEST halibut I have ever eaten and I will definitely be going back there again.
After dinner we stepped outside and took a few photos.  The girls in their thriller shirts and black lipstick:

Then we loaded up in the car and headed to the Covey Center for the show:
 
Verena's sister Sabrina (Beanie) found out we were going to Thriller so she decided that her and Wilde needed to come as well, but there was a mix-up with her shirts so they weren't matching with us.  Once inside, we headed to the bathroom for a quick break.  As we were headed out one of the zombies was hiding behind the door and jumped out and scared Makena to death!!  After some more tormenting from the zombies, we finally found our seats:

  
Right after this picture was taken an usher came up to Beanie and said there weren't any babies allowed.  So she ran to her brothers house that was 5 blocks away and dashed back just as the curtain was rising.  It was amazing as usual:


As we were leaving the show, zombies were EVERYWHERE:



When Makena walked outside, the same zombie that jumped out at her by the bathroom was waiting for her.  Makena took off and the zombie chased her.  She tried to get back in the building, but Mace was blocking it so she just RAN!!  On the way home we stopped at Sonic for a light refreshment and because Makena was STARVING!!!  Matt decided to take some pictures while we were waiting:


We took the long way home through Spanish, Salem, Payson, Santaquin, Mona, and finally Nephi.  It was a great spooky night, and I am so glad that we got to share it with friends!!  So who's up for next year?
