Halloweentime Day Two Part Two

So after our rest we headed back to Disneyland.  We would be watching the new Halloween Screams fireworks tonight and we wanted to get a good seat.  As we entered Main Street, they were having the flag lowering ceremony.

Then we headed to use our Space Mountain fast passes.  It was a lot better the second time.  More creepy because we were in the front.

Next, we jaunted over to Fantasyland.  Bailee wanted to ride the teacups.
Day Two (220)
Matt refused to spin the teacup.  Apparently last time we were on them, he got sick and didn't want a repeat.  After the teacups, we hopped on the carousel.

Then we headed the back way towards frontierland.  We noticed that the Mark Twain was going to dock, so we hopped on the old steamboat.

Day Two (227)
As we were sailing the rivers of america, we noticed that people were already starting to save places for Fantasmic.  I was starting to worry because in my mind, if people were saving for Fantasmic, they were probably saving for the Fireworks.  So we hopped off the boat and headed for Main Street.  We got a spot front and center for the fireworks.  It was the perfect spot, or so we thought.
Day Two (85)
Apparently there was a walkway exactly in front of us, so even though the fireworks were in the air, there were people that would stop right in front of us and then the cast members would have to ask them to keep walking.  I enjoyed the fireworks much more from the Rivers of America the next night.  I did, get some awesome shots of the fireworks though.
Day Two (84)
Mom brought some glow sticks for the kids to keep them entertained while we waited.

Oh man, the fireworks were awesome.  If anyone wants to see the show, just go to youtube and type Halloween Screams Fireworks and you'll see how awesome the fireworks really were.  Afterwards, it was a mad house though.  We were stuck in Frontierland for about 45 minutes, so we just decided to turn around and head for the hotel.  It was a great day.  Coming up . . . our last day.

Those look like awesome fireworks. Maybe someday we'll make it Disneyland, and if we do, we will make sure we are there for the fireworks.

Saving for the fireworks for 3 hours as hard on my bones. That took up a lot of time just to have people in front of you. Learned my lesson there. Rivers of America is definitely the place to watch the fireworks. We had a great time with lots of memories though.

The fireworks were the best. People kept trying to jump in the viewing area right by us and we had to kick them out because we were waiting for 3 and a half hours before the show started. We walked and walked and walked and rode rides and took in the awesome awesomeness that was the Halloween Disneyland. Trully a good time to go.

The fireworks do look cool. Rachel watched them on youtube and it totally freaked her out. One day she will appreciate fireworks, but not for a long time.
